Digital files can also be geo-tagged and shown on the dematerial google map that leaves a track of Convention activity. If GPS (Global Positioning System) enabled cameras or mobile phones are used to capture images/sound/video (and the GPS facility is enabled on individual phones) then GPS locations will be automatically saved as part of the digital file. When images are taken without the GPS information being included, it is possible to add GPS co-ordinates retrospectively if the location where the file was captured is known and can be pinpointed on the dematerial google map.
